Even at the beginning– we knew it would be tough. We just didn’t know how tough. Followers of the great BoldRush business adventure will recall times we lost the trail, got blisters, ran into expensive toll bridges, waited for bad weather to pass and had long discussions with race officials.
And all the time, the clock kept ticking. In business, the clock ticks away available operating capital. And like most marathons and adventure races, just finishing counts big time. The prizes can wait.
Success in business is often just managing to stay in business. James and I are still here, still producing and wholesaling, selling off extraneous equipment, and odd-jobbing it to help pay the bills. We’re still a small start-up, and out there somewhere, the wall looms. We need the business equivalent of BoldRush.
BoldRush PowerFoods help athletes avoid the wall. Amino acids combine to build proteins. Proteins build muscles and antibodies, while sugars provide energy. In business, people provide the energy, and money acts as the protein that builds business strength, resilience, and buys time. Time means endurance, and allows for developing a strong customer base and market share.
For athletes, no BoldRush means a longer recovery time. In business, running out of money is terminal.
I’d personally find it helpful if you had more blog posts just like this, simply documenting your adventures in business. For those of us also just starting out, your advice and experience are tremendously valuable.
I totally agree with Geof .
